With hundreds of locations spread across a wide geographic area, the project required precise scheduling, coordination, and adherence to environmental best practice. Key challenges included minimising disruption to daily commuters and nearby businesses, managing varying site conditions, and ensuring consistency of service across the entire region.

To meet project requirements, Wallum Industries implemented a structured regional cleaning program supported by detailed route planning and team coordination. We utilised environmentally responsible cleaning solutions, low-water high-pressure systems, and our ‘Weed and Seed’ sustainability method to ensure compliance with environmental management and runoff control requirements. All works were conducted in accordance with WHS and local authority standards, with regular quality checks to maintain performance and consistency across all sites.

Wallum Industries delivered a comprehensive suite of cleaning and maintenance services across the Moreton Bay region. This included high-pressure washing of shelters, pathways, and surrounding areas, along with the removal of graffiti and surface residues to restore the visual appeal of public infrastructure. The team implemented strict environmental runoff management and wastewater containment procedures to ensure compliance with environmental standards. A detailed maintenance program was coordinated to maintain consistency and reliability across all sites, supported by on-site supervision, quality assurance checks, and effective traffic and pedestrian management where required.

The project successfully delivered consistent, high-quality cleaning results across all designated sites, achieving the client’s objectives for safety, hygiene, and presentation. Public satisfaction and perception of Council-maintained infrastructure improved notably, with visible enhancements to the cleanliness and condition of transport facilities. Preventative maintenance measures extended the longevity of public assets, while the use of eco-friendly cleaning products and water-efficient technology reduced the project’s environmental impact. All works were completed on time, within scope, and with zero safety incidents — demonstrating Wallum Industries’ commitment to operational excellence and reliability.

As a proudly Indigenous-owned business, Wallum Industries prioritised community participation and local employment. The project engaged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers from the region, providing on-the-job training and development opportunities that strengthened local capability and created meaningful career pathways.
